Why join an escorted small group tour?
If you’re dreaming of Morocco but don’t want to travel independently, join me on a Moroccan Escapes escorted tour. You’ll be with like-minded travellers in a small group, often no more than eight, sometimes ten, guests, and if you choose one of my award-winning, women-only tours, there are usually only four guests. I personally escort all my tours, other than sketching tours which require the tour leader to have a skill-set I don’t claim to possess!
A smaller tour groups means bigger opportunities.

With fewer guests, we can stay in small boutique riads, many of which only have five or six rooms.

Small groups are so much more flexible, allowing us to make an impromptu lunch booking, add an activity, or adjust the day around what genuinely interests the group.

We can sit down for tea with a Berber family, join a cooking lesson in someone's home kitchen, or chat with artisans: interactions that are difficult when two dozen people arrive en masse.

Transport is convenient and comfortable. On my ladies-only groups of just four guests, we travel together in a seven-seat Mercedes Vito, or similar. The drive is comfortable and the car can get us through narrow streets on the edge of the medinas and in rural villages. For slightly larger groups, a small bus, with 13 or 17 seats provides plenty of space to spread out.

And, of course, the every day logistics of checking-in and out of accommodation and rest stops are so much easier and more efficient with a small group.
I take care of everything, from when you arrive in Morocco until your departure. And if you decide to arrive a day or two before the tour starts, or extend your time in Morocco at the end of the tour, I’m happy to help you with those arrangements. Just let me know what you need – airport transfers, extra nights’ accommodation etc.
