Morocco is a photographer's dream — a country made for anyone with a camera. Rose-gold kasbahs, the blue-painted buildings of Chefchaouen, the ochre walls of the ancient Medina of Fes, and the shifting light of the Sahara dunes at sunrise.
Join me in March/April 2027, on an exciting, truly immersive photography experience through Morocco, alongside Omar Chennafi — a professional photographer, artist and curator from Fes. Omar and I have designed an itinerary that concentrates on the best photography destinations in Morocco.
We begin with a four-day workshop in Omar's home city of Fes, before travelling on to Morocco's key photography destinations, including in the Sahara and southern Morocco. This isn't a standard sightseeing tour with a camera along for the ride — it's a genuine photography-first itinerary, built around light, location, and instruction. Omar will provide as much, or as little, tuition as you need and, importantly, will bridge the (sometimes tricky) gap between photographer and Moroccan locals, who don't always appreciate having their photograph taken.
The tour is suitable for beginner, hobbyist, and semi-professional photographers alike. Whatever camera you shoot with, you'll come away with new skills and a portfolio of images you couldn't get anywhere else.
The tour is open to photographers of any level, from beginners to semi-professional.

Meet your photography guide Omar Chennafi
Omar is a professional photographer, artist and curator based in Fes, Morocco. He grew up in the medina of Fes and regularly leads photography workshops and tours for international guests. Omar brings deep local knowledge of light, location, and the culture behind the shot — the kind of access and insight you cannot get from a generic tour guide.

We start in Casablanca on 19 March 2027, finishing on 3 April, or, if you would like to do the extension tour to Northern Morocco, on 8 April 2027.
